POST & BEAM CABIN - LOFT WITH LADDER/STAIRS
Available Sizes: 20'x24', 22'x24', 20'x30', 22'x30'
General: post & beam cabin with 6 ft porch on both sides, loft and ladder. 22'x30' size has stairs in place of ladder.
Post & Beam frame ( 20'): Consisting of 6+ ½”x 6+ ½” posts and 6+ ½”x 8” beams. Cross members, knee braces, joists and purlens vary from 2 + ½” x 6” to 3” x 7”, (ladder or log stairs with railing and second floor). Posts and beams have mortise and tenon joints. Wood used is spruce. All our cabins are hand crafted and can be customized to your needs.
Post & Beam frame (22'): Consisting of 7+ ½”x 7+ ½” posts and 7+ ½”x 9” beams. Cross members, knee braces, joists and purlens vary from 3”x 6” to 4” x 7”, Log stairs with railing and second floor. Posts and beams have mortise and tenon joints. Wood used is spruce. All our cabins are hand crafted and can be customized to your needs.
Panels (20'): Consisting of 2”x 4” pre cut boards for frame panels, 3/8” plywood on outside and Tyvek. Inside is unfinished. Two inside frame walls out of 2”x 4” and 3/8 plywood on one side are included.
Panels (22'): Consisting of 2”x 6” pre cut boards for frame panels, 3/8” plywood on outside and Tyvek. Inside is unfinished. Two inside frame walls out of 2”x 4” and 3/8 plywood on one side are included.
Shed Dormer: Consisting of the posts and beams and the frame panels.
Roof system: Consisting of 2”x 8” precut rafters, 3/8” plywood on inside as sealing, fascia boards, trim and miscellaneous screws and nails.
Door and windows: Steel insulated main door with glass insert, vinyl sliding windows with mosquito screen; outside and inside trim for door and windows and miscellaneous screws and nails.
